Annual Grape Harvest

Our second annual grape harvest has begun!

Always a time of excitement and a little trepidation. This year our Hencote Estate General Manager Mark Stevens and Winemaker Gavin Patterson have been watching the weather forecasts and gauging the grapes for the perfect moment to pick for optimum flavour.

Early signs indicate that although yields are down from our bumper first-year harvest last year due to the hot extended summer sunshine, this years’ flavour notes promises intense and balanced aromas.
