A Hencote gift voucher offers lots of choice and can be spent across the whole vineyard, so whether your recipient fancies a guided wine tasting, a special dining evening, a glass in the bar or a few bottles for the wine rack, they decide how to use it.
For example, many of our guests choose to book a wine tasting followed by our popular Sunday Roast, or use their voucher to gather friends for our relaxed Murder Mystery or Quiz nights.
And because Hencote welcomes guests most weekends, all year round, there’s never a wrong time to use it.

How does a Hencote Gift Voucher work?
- Choose. Pick the voucher type (a monetary voucher or an experience voucher) and amount that suit them and the occasion. All our gift vouchers are monetary.
- Send. Your gift voucher arrives by email, either to print at home and give as is, or to be sent directly to your recipient. Each voucher has a unique voucher code and an expiry date.
- Redeem. Book a tasting, event or dining experience online with live availability (no phone call needed), or redeem their voucher in person for drinks at the bar or wine from the shop.
- Enjoy. All that’s left is to raise a glass and enjoy all that Hencote has to offer! Vouchers can be used in one visit or spread across visits during their redemption period.

What can I spend a Hencote voucher on?
Our gift vouchers are a versatile gift. They can be redeemed for wine tasting experiences, tickets to our events, dining experiences, drinks in our bar, and wine from our wine shop.
How do I redeem it?
Hencote gift vouchers can be redeemed in two ways.
For wine tastings, events and dining, book online and enter your voucher code on the payment screen at checkout, with live availability shown.
Self-guided wine tastings do not need to be booked in advance. Just visit the View during our opening hours, present your voucher at the bar and enjoy the tasting at your own pace.
For the bar and wine shop, show your voucher code in person; either printed or on a phone is fine.
Can I use it across more than one visit?
Yes, the full value of your voucher is redeemable for 12 months from the date of purchase.
The value can be spent across a number of visits and transactions. Any unspent value will remain on your voucher; no change will be given.
Can it be used for more than one person?
Yes, the value can go towards a booking for multiple guests. Our system allows transactions to be paid partly by a gift voucher, with the balance payable by credit or debit card.
I have a wine tasting voucher. How do I redeem it?
Visit our wine tasting and events booking page – hencote.guestvoucher.co.uk/events
Select the tasting option from the menu and select the number of guests from the drop-down at the top of the page.
Click the date you’d like to attend and select your preferred time slot.
Click ‘Book Now’. On the pop-up, click ‘Add Tickets’ and go to your basket.
Check your order and ‘Proceed to Checkout’. Complete the billing information screens.
On the payment screen, you can click ‘Redeem Voucher’ and add your code; you will be able to select the value to redeem from your voucher.
You’ll receive your tickets via email – please bring them with you on the day.

How long is it valid for?
Our gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated, and our T&Cs apply.
Lost, stolen, damaged, or expired vouchers cannot be replaced or extended.
Will I get change or a refund for any unused balance?
No. Unused balances can’t be refunded or given as change, and vouchers can’t be exchanged for cash.
If your visit costs less than the voucher value, the remaining balance stays on your voucher for next time and remains valid for the whole 12 month validty period.
Do I need to book?
We recommend booking in advance for our dining and ticketed experiences, as redemption is subject to availability at the time of booking.

What if I lose my voucher, or it expires?
Lost, stolen, damaged or expired vouchers can’t be replaced or extended, so please keep your voucher somewhere safe and arrange to use it within 12 months.
