Whether you’re planning an intimate family gathering with sparkling wine and canapés or a lively party-style wedding, our team will work closely with you to design an itinerary that reflects your style and ensures a truly memorable day.
The Perfect Location & Accommodation
Despite its 180 panoramic countryside views of the Shropshire Hills and the Vineyard, Hencote is conveniently located near the quaint market town of Shrewsbury which has direct transport routes to London, Manchester and Birmingham, only 2.5hrs, 90mins and 60 mins respectively, allowing you and your guests to plan travel accordingly.
Situated on 17 acres of beautiful countryside, Hencote Vineyard & Estate also offers luxurious on-site accommodation for the bridal party and wedding guests. The collection of properties — The Farmhouse, The Grange, The Apartment and The Safari Tent — can together accommodate up to 32 guests across a range of elegant spaces. With features such as a swimming pool, tennis court, outdoor kitchen, and spacious gardens, the estate provides the perfect setting for a weekend or week-long celebration surrounded by the vineyard’s stunning views.
Wedding Breakfast
Our talented kitchen brigade has crafted a wedding breakfast and canapé menu designed to delight every guest. Each dish celebrates the finest seasonal ingredients, sourced from trusted local producers and thoughtfully paired with our award-winning Hencote wines. From tender cuts of Shropshire beef and lamb to the freshest seafood from the British coast, every plate is prepared with care and creativity. While our menus offer something to suit all tastes, we are also delighted, on occasion, to create bespoke dishes that reflect your personal style and make your celebration truly unique.
