Can I hire Hencote exclusively for a private party?
Yes. Hencote is available for both exclusive and non-exclusive private hire, making it ideal for celebrations of all sizes. From a private section of The View Bar & Venue or our Terrace and Balcony for smaller gatherings, to full exclusive hire of the entire estate for larger celebrations, we can accommodate your requirements.

How many guests can I invite to a private celebration at Hencote?
Hencote can accommodate private celebrations from intimate gatherings of 10 to larger exclusive hire parties of up to 150 seated guests, or up to 250 for a standing reception.
Our experienced events team will advise on the best space and configuration for your group size and the style of celebration you have in mind.
Do you offer catering packages?
Yes. Our catering team creates seasonal menus that celebrate locally sourced produce, including Shropshire beef and fresh British seafood, paired with our own award-winning estate wines. Whether you require working lunches, a laid back buffet, a formal dinner, canapés and drinks receptions, or a multi-course tasting menu, our team are able to design and price something fitting.

Can you cater for dietary requirements at private events? Absolutely. Our kitchen team takes great care to accommodate all dietary requirements and allergies as standard, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergen-specific needs. Simply let our events team know your guests’ requirements at the time of enquiry and we will ensure every plate reflects the same quality and care as the rest of your celebration.
How do I book a private party or special occasion at Hencote?
The easiest way to start planning is to get in touch with our dedicated events team directly by emailing [email protected].
Our availability for exclusive hire is limited, so early enquiry is recommended.
Once all of the details have been agreed, a deposit will be required to secure your booking, with the balance required 2-4 weeks before your event.
We aim to respond to all enquiries within 72 hours, Monday to Friday. We are also happy to arrange a complimentary show around so you can see the venue in person before committing to a booking.
