English Pinot Noir Rosé Wine – Suzanne 2023 (Shropshire)
Made exclusively from our estate-grown Pinot Noir, the Suzanne balances its perfectly pale colour with fine floral aromatics and delightfully fresh flavours of rose hip, strawberry, and sherbet. Medium-bodied and refreshingly crisp, this wine is a rare example of a truly versatile, food-friendly rosé.
The growing season brought excellent ripening conditions, resulting in a wine with vibrant fruit, balanced acidity, and a refined structure that sets it apart from mass-produced rosés.
Perfect for a warm-weather aperitif or for sharing at summer BBQ’s and parties, pairing with seafood, light salads, chicken, charcuterie and soft cheeses.
Praise for Suzanne – Bronze International Wine Awards.
“Nose of rose and dried flowers. Hints of dried strawberry. Palate ripe, balanced and a little delicate. Hints of cranberry and strawberry juice.”

Entirely harvested by hand, this wine is crafted using only the finest free-run juice from carefully selected parcels of Pinot Noir. Each bunch is sorted and pressed, with the resulting juice settled, racked, and prepared for a long, cool fermentation. This process ensures the cleanest wine possible, preserves our signature aromatic profile, and allows for extended lees contact to add body and weight to the wine.
A mild spring followed by a warm, dry summer led to early veraison, providing an extended ripening period. This enabled us to time our harvests perfectly, maximise the potential of our vineyards, and further enhance the quality of our estate flagship wine.
