At Hencote Estate we take great pride in making sure that your special day is planned with you in mind. We can create wedding packages for traditional celebrations to the more unique vineyard wedding, paying close attention to detail to ensure we meet your every need.
Our Team
Our dedicated wedding coordinators have a wealth of experience when it comes to planning and organising large events and weddings. With this extensive background, they can therefore take care of everything from themes, table layouts and decorations to entertainment and even floral arrangements. So, whether you require a small family only gathering with champagne and canapés reception or want to host a large party style wedding, our team can create an itinerary and package which meets your specific needs and dreams.
The Perfect Location
Despite its 180 panoramic countryside views of the Shropshire Hills and the Vineyard, Hencote is conveniently located near the quaint market town of Shrewsbury which has direct transport routes to London, Manchester and Birmingham, only 2.5hrs, 90mins and 60 mins respectively, allowing you and your guests to plan travel accordingly.
Situated on 17 acres of land, Hencote Vineyard & Estate also provides onsite accommodation for the bridal party and wedding guests. The Grange, a newly converted Georgian Farmhouse sleeps 14 guests in 6 double bedrooms and 1 twin room, all with their own en-suite bedrooms, perfect for bridal parties. With an additional 10 luxury glamping lodges on site in the Glamping Village, each lodge can sleep 2 adults and 2 or 4 children, dependent on lodge style. Each with roll top baths and high end amenities, each lodge veranda also houses a private hot tub for relaxing in the evening.
Wedding Breakfast
Our dedicated and experienced kitchen brigade is able to create a wedding breakfast to suit the requirements of you and your guests. We always look at sourcing the best local and national produce that pairs nicely with our homegrown estate wines. The menu can be designed to complement the changing seasons and the culinary techniques we use only serves to enhance the end product. You will always find a wonderful array of dishes and a superb selection of award-winning beef, lamb and the latest seafood from the coast of Britain.
Wedding Enquiries & Show Arounds
Our wedding show around appointments are the perfect opportunity for you to view what Hencote has to offer. You will be given a guided tour by our dedicated Wedding Coordinators and have the chance to discuss your upcoming wedding over a cup of coffee.
