Do you know your New World wine from your Old World wine? On Thursday 16th January we will be hosting our first wine club members event as we take you on a journey through Australia and New Zealand.
New World wine is from those countries and regions outside Europe, with Australia, New Zealand and California being the three most prominent.
Given their climate, wine from these regions is often big, bold and full of flavour. The wines also rarely needed decanting first and could be opened and consumed straight away – what could be better than that?
During the evening you’ll get to taste four unique wines; two from Australia and two from New Zealand, while Hencote winemaker Gavin Patterson will explain the history, the terroir and what gives the wines their bold flavours and unique taste – it is a wine tasting experience not to be missed.
Tickets for this exclusive event are £20pp and will include the tasting of all four wines and cheese/charcuterie board.
If you would like more information about the night you can get in touch with the Hencote team here.
